Legal historical documents since the 16th century such as records of birth, death, marriage and baptism certificates are archived in European Churches for a long time ago. These physical records are collected and scanned mostly onsite in the archives. A company which specializes in genealogical and historical records digitizes these records, preprocesses them and transfers to ITS Global via secured virtual network. ITS Global captures the handwritten information about the name, date of birth, death, marriage and baptism dates and converts this information to a unique database format. After final quality checks and some post processing, the above company announces that information in their web portal which is accessible for those who are interested.

Capturing old language in Sutherlin, Fracture and Old German is a very complex task which requires a special training so the keyers have knowledge to recognize and read those characters.

“I myself a German, had a try to compete with the keyer on a capturing test and had been defeated by them about the accuracy and speed of processing. They all don’t know about the language. That’s interesting.” shared by Mr. Bjoern Rittstieg – Business Development Manager of ITS Global.

Each record has different layout, some are structured, some semi-structured but mostly are unstructured document. Additionally, there are also variety of historical stages, areas, and writing styles. ITS Global’ digitization platform ITS-SOFT gives the keyers a good base to deliver a fast and accurate capturing of those various documents and eras.

“We optimize the application based on the specific requirements of the projects. The database which was provided by customers or developed by ITS Global is integrated in the look up function. They keyers use shortcuts and position functions to capture the information in short time” shared by Mr Thai Chi Cuong, Software Development Manager of ITS Global.

“I have been working for this project in one and a half years. This was challenging for me in the beginning since I didn’t know the language. After 2 weeks getting trained, I can easily find where is the information I need to capture. That is so interesting for me to join these challenging projects since the project is more challenging with higher complexity and diverse writing styles. I also can capture in English and Romanian.” shared by Ms. Tuong Vy, a keyer of ITS Global.

With dedicate team and rich experiences in this industry, ITS Global is well confident to bring more valued add for its customer and partner, goes beyond a traditional IT Service services provider.

ITS Global initially started its business as a professional Data Entry service provider for European markets from 2002.
