In the morning of 27, June 2012, ITS Global attended at the “Meeting with the leaders of City People’s Committee “at Quang Trung Software City, District 12.

The meeting took place with the presence of Mr. Le Manh Ha – Vice President of Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, Mr. Le Thai Hy – Director of Information and Media Office Ho Chi Minh City, Representative of Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department, Representative of Customs Department and other departments of the city as well as representatives of more than 30 IT companies.

The contents of the meeting is the issues of value added tax applied for digital services of IT enterprises according to Circular No. 06/2012/TT-BTC issued on 11 January of 2012 by Ministry of Finance; business taxes incentives, import tax incentives, etc. … The meeting is an opportunity for ITS Global as well as other IT companies to send their questions, suggestions and proposals for the regulations relating to tax to the leaders of the City People’s Committee. On behalf of City People’s Committee, Mr. Le Manh Ha has directed the working group of City People’s Committee to send proposals to the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Information and Media, the Customs Department and other concerned departments.

ITS Global has been trying to get clear answers about the applicable VAT rate for digitizing services from the authorities, in order to inform and advice the customers to find appropriate solutions to maintain business operations.
