One measure for the success of a business is how well that business cares for its employees. In ITS Global, it is our management’s principle to add value to our employees’ life. Thus, a safe and healthy working environment scheme is currently implemented in ITS Global. Fire Safety Training is one practice of this scheme. As a a result, in the beginning of October, ITS Global’s HR and Administration Department, together with the support of the Police Officers from Fire Department of District 12, has organized a training for all members of the ITS Global’s Board of Fire Safety.

The training included one theoretical section in which the officers provided our employees the basic knowledge on Fire Safety. The trainers explained about the fundamental of fire, possible fire/explosion causes, how to prevent fire/explosion, actions to be taken and so on. The other half of the training was the practical part in which trainees participated in a number of fire accident simulations. During these simulations, our trainees were encouraged to use the fire safety equipment (e.g. fire pump) or practicing first aid exercises for injured cases.  The employees who successfully went through the course got the Fire Safety Certificates issued by the Fire Department of Ho Chi Minh City.

ITS Global is currently a leading  IT Service provider in Vietnam with approximately 1000 employees. The company is going through significantly fast expansion at the moment. Thus, there is a need to prevent any unexpected fire accident related to the company’s people and property. As such, to achieve a sustainable growth, activities like Fire Safety Training is one of the top priorities. Moreover, employees who are equipped with knowledge of Fire Safety can also apply that to their daily life to protect themselves as well as their family.
