Outsourcing industry provides a significant number of jobs and can result in improvement of living standards for thousands of people through employing thousand people who can then support their families. Outsourcing can also provide an opportunity for improved training and up skills as supervisory, management and more technical roles become available over time. This provides long term improvement for the whole population and a sustainable future for the country. Additionally, Vietnam has favorable conditions for outsourcing such as a stable socio-political environment, a large talent pool with supply exceeding demands, young and highly motivated workforces. These factors drive Vietnam to be one of the top contenders in the emerging outsourcing destination recently.

To promote the image of Vietnam’s IT outsourcing sector, Quang Trung Software City (QTSC), Ho Chi Minh City Computer Association (HCA) have co-operated with strong IT firms to organize Vietnam IT Outsourcing Conference (VNITO) in October 14th-16th, 2015. Reportedly, VNITO is the largest ever international trade activity in Vietnam. It is expected that the representatives of over 150 multinational companies and 200 IT Outsourcing (ITO/IT Service) enterprises in Vietnam will be attending the conference to exchange views on the ITO and IT Service business in Vietnam, and seeking outsourcing business opportunities.
